With a sizzling line up, Black Spectrum Theatre is announcing its upcoming productions. From the stellar selection of shows, it's bound to be a heavily applauded season.
"Funkacize" With Broadway, movie, and TV actress Ella Joyce.
It's the latest fun movement that is sweeping the country: an exercise class called Funkacize featuring 60 & 70's music for folks who just want to work out a bit and have some fun. Wear some loose clothes and join her on Saturday October 8th 4PM-6PM. Tickets for the class are $10.
Then on Sunday October 9th from 4-6 PM we feature an evening with Ella Joyce as she discusses her work in Hollywood, on Broadway, and TV. Tickets for this event are $25
"What's Going On" Special guest performances by Dick Gregory & Onaje Allan Gumbs Saturday, October 22nd 8:00 PM
Dick Gregory is bringing his humor and acute perception of the upcoming election to the community. Gregory is now one of the oldest living African American legends that worked with some of the most iconic leaders of the 20th century (including Bobby and Jack Kennedy, Martin Luther King Jr, Malcolm X, Medgar Evers, James Baldwin, and many others).
